Sessions, learning from others and being able to ask questions, the community sessions are fantastic for this and grow in strength and quality every year, check out vBrownBag this year these sessions really stood out for me
- vDeploy – PowerCLI only method to fully deploy a VM [VMTN5513U]\
- Community Involvement for Professional Growth [VMTN5595U]
- Building and Monitoring IOT with Liota and Wavefront by VMware [CODE5546U]\
Hands-on-Labs I hope need no explanation but if you have never done some then there were some real incentives this year, you could randomly win a Raspberry pi, or if you took up the VMware Code coin challenge then certain labs earn’t coins and as always Noell from Cloud Credibility was in the labs area and it was buzzing. This year I struggled to stay in the top ten with Cloud Cred and I’m the world number 1, really looking forward to some strong competition this coming year.
